The first ever Survive & Thrive Symposium in San Antonio on Saturday, February 16, was a fantastic day! To start us off, Tamika Felder shared her own experience and how it influenced the course of her life afterward. Local and national experts covered a variety of topics including nutrition, advance directives, late & long-term effects and intimacy. Then in the afternoon participants engaged in an art therapy directive to outwardly express the inward impact of their cancer journey.
