The third annual Survive & Thrive Symposium was held on Saturday, September 29 in Arlington, Texas. Ryan Anthony, founder and president of the "CancerBlows" concerts, started the day with an inspirational presentation. By sharing his story through personal narrative, a touching video tribute set to his music and open dialogue with the audience, Ryan helped form a bond in the room that carried throughout the day.
A pre-symposium workshop focusing on Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) patients was held for the first time this year! Experts and BMT survivors shared insight into what the cancer journey looks like for Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant patients.
